3d printer project is underway and making progress!
Look at those glorious metric socket screws. Look. at. them.
Two cases, oiled can, big ruler, 4 valve manifold set, large driver motor, 4 sets of worm gears w pinions, an extra large turbo torch tip, and a full x axis driver (not in pic)… For 65$.
Its very hard to beat hackerspace garage sales.
Full 3d printer electronics showed up. It’s amazing what you can get for only $170 on ebay. Full ramps board, 5 drivers, LCD and SD card setup, even an SD card, 3 end stops, 3 homing stops, 3 GT2 pulleys, all the wiring, AND a hot plate (didn’t even realize it was coming with a hot plate actually).
If you haven’t seen this yet, you should watch it. If you have seen it you should watch it again.

G540 and some 380oz steppers from CNC Parts, they do a great job in pre-cabling EVERYTHING. Plug. Play. Now to play.
Cutaway shot of a reciprocating compressor.
This ones on ebay. Figure I’ll grab it to add to the showcase or gift to a buddy.
